Donations based on the CO2 calculator go 'into the pot'. As soon as there is enough money to buy a piece of land, we buy it. You may also be putting money into raising and planting trees for a reforestation project on a newly purchased plot of land. Donations that are intended to buy a piece of land from our list are used for just that.

Yes, of course you can. We have minimal overhead costs because the foundation for the foundation is already in place and has been donated by a portion of the profits of the board members' companies. We will of course have fixed costs and costs for e.g. transportation or materials.

It's different here every day. Living in nature provides many unexpected things. This can vary from electricity, internet or a water pump failing to tracking down hunters or seeing a rare animal. We are also open to visitors and scientific research. It is therefore also possible that we go into the jungle with a group of scientists. And then of course we have our vegetable and fruit tree nurseries. These also make for a lot of varied work. We are still experimenting with what grows well in this climate and how we can control fungi and other bacteria 'in an organic way'. That also requires a lot of research and visits to local experts. Furthermore, making sure that no coati, monkey, toucan or iguana is ahead of us when there is harvest time. We like to share the harvest with the animals around us, but sometimes you also have to 'fight for your rights...'

We do regular rounds to see if we see any traces of poachers. When we catch the poachers dogs we talk to them as they try to get the dogs back. In that case, we know who they are and we inform them why we do what we do. And under no circumstances are they allowed hunt on our properties. We also install modern cameras and sound recording equipment so that we can detect dogs, gunshots and sawing machines without poachers and loggers knowing. This is also evidence for legal action. Because poachers usually hunt in the early morning with a full moon, we are extra alert for noises during those nights and we do extra rounds.

Yes, that's possible. We are currently mainly looking for graduates who specialize in funding and marketing. But we are also open to scientific research and biology topics in the broadest sense.
