These terms and conditions apply to visiting and usage of the Nature For Future Foundation (“NFF”) website, as well as to the information, recommendations and/or information made available to you on or via this website (“The Information”).
Information and liability
The Information is for general information purposes only and is not intended as advice. NFF is not liable for any damage as a result of the use of (or inability to use) the website, including damages as a result of viruses or the inaccuracy or incompleteness of the Information, unless the damage is the result of intent or gross negligence on the part of NFF. Furthermore NFF is not liable for damages resulting from the use of electronic means for communication with this website, including (but not limited to) damage resulting from non-delivery or delay in the delivery of electronic messages, interception or manipulation of electronic messages by third parties or by software/equipment used for electronic communication and transmission of viruses.
Donations
You can donate to the non-profit foundation Nature For Future, with its registered office in Lichtenvoorde, and registered with the Chamber of Commerce under number 58702121.
The Nature For Future Foundation is designated as a Public Benefit Institution (ANBI).
Donations to our foundation are therefore tax deductible (in the Netherlands).
Conditions for donations
These donation conditions apply to every online donation made to the Nature For Future Foundation via www.natureforfuture.org. On the aforementioned website, the donor is asked to accept these donation conditions by means of a checkbox. The Nature For Future Foundation reserves the right to change the donation conditions at any time.
Rights and obligations of NFF
Every payment made by a donor via www.natureforfuture.org will fully benefit the Nature For Future Foundation and will be used by the Nature For Future Foundation for innovations, improvements and expansions. Being a destination that matches the mission and vision of the Nature For Future Foundation.
Refunds are not possible.
The Nature For Future Foundation takes appropriate measures to secure the transfer of data in the context of this promotion. Persons who are authorized to take cognizance of this data on behalf of the Nature For Future Foundation are bound by confidentiality, barring legally permitted exceptions.
Rights and obligations of the donor
The donor cannot derive any rights from a donation other than that the Nature For Future Foundation will use the donation for innovations, improvements and extensions. In order to make a donation, the donor must have reached the age of 16. The donor is obliged to correctly state his/her name and identity. The donor will make the donation with resources that he/she has control over and ownership of.

Your donation and the donation conditions are exclusively governed by Dutch law. Offers are valid as long as the stock of the corresponding products of services lasts. The disclaimer on the Nature For Future Foundation website applies in full. Nature For Future Foundation processes personal data following applicable laws and regulations. You can read how we do that in our Privacy Policy.

The Nature For Future Foundation only uses technical and functional cookies. And analytical cookies that do not infringe on your privacy. You hereby indemnify NFF against all damage suffered by NFF and all costs incurred by NFF with regard to claims from third parties that the use and/or exploitation of the Materials infringes (intellectual) property rights of third parties or is otherwise unlawful towards a third party.
Gifts
NFF does not guarantee that the offer of a gift (such as a t-shirt) is error-free. If, for whatever reason, the gift is not available, NFF will ensure that, if the donor does not wish to donate, the amounts paid are refunded to the donor as soon as possible for NFF. This refund will in any case take place within thirty days.
NFF is at all times entitled to adjust the amount required to make donors eligible to receive a gift.
The delivery term as in confirmation emails are indicative and can never be regarded as a deadline. NFF will make every effort to achieve this indicative delivery term. If NFF is unable to deliver the gift to the donor within thirty days, the donor has the right to cancel the donation after NFF has notified that it cannot make the delivery within the specified term.
NULLITY
If these General Terms and Conditions are or become partially invalid, the parties will remain bound by the remaining part. The parties will replace the invalid part with stipulations that are valid and whose legal consequences, in view of the content and purport of these General Terms and Conditions, correspond as much as possible with those of the invalid part.

Conditions for visitors on site
Visit and stay at our locations
Visiting our location(s) in Costa Rica and the Netherlands is only possible by appointment. Prior to your visit we ask you to contact us. When visiting our (or our partner) sites, you agree to our terms and conditions, the terms and conditions of the site and any terms and conditions of our partners. It is your responsibility to familiarize yourself with these terms and conditions. Violations of the terms and conditions may result in your access to the premises being denied (immediately and without reason), we reserve this right at all times. This is to ensure your own and our safety.
We only share the exact location of our locations in Costa Rica after we are certain that your visit contributes to the goals of our foundation. We consider the information we share with you to be confidential unless otherwise stated.
We ask you to respect our privacy at all times, this is very important to be able to continue our work properly. E.g. so that poachers do not seek out areas where we support wildlife. And for the prevention of disturbing or influencing research, destruction or theft of our equipment, etc.
Naturica Reforestation Ltda.
Our visiting site and "homebase" in Piedras Blancas de Osa, Costa Rica is owned by Naturica Reforestation Limitada. They are making this location available to our foundation. They expect us, and we expect you, to treat this property with care and respect. We reserve the right to refuse and deny you access to this property. The property is closed by fencing, there is surveillance and camera surveillance present and there may be (guard) dogs running loose. Access without permission is prohibited. We ask you to be accompanied by our staff at all times. They are experienced in recognizing the dangers on this property, for example but not limited to wild and (potentially deadly) poisonous animals and plants. Access to this property is strictly at your own risk.
Use of guesthouse "Casa Cacao"
Staying in "Casa Cacao" is possible only on request.
We may ask you for a deposit with a maximum value of $500, a copy of your passport(s)/driving license and credit card. In doing so, our privacy policy applies.
In the event that we ask you for financial compensation, this transaction is final (no refunds). This also applies to (voluntary) donations.
Liquor and drug use
We have a zero-tolerance policy regarding drug use on our property. This also applies to excessive alcohol consumption. Should you wish to consume alcohol during your visit, please ask for permission in advance.
If you are taking medication that may affect your behavior or motor skills, please notify us prior to arrival so that we can take this into account. This also applies to other risks that could potentially compromise your and our safety, health or legal responsibilities.
